Meknès 2.0
A one-year artistic residency in Meknès / Morocco, 2014/2015
Invited by the French Institute of Meknès, I stayed one year in the imperial city to observe and imagine a kind of strange contemporary universe, deeply rooted in the traditional moroccan iconography and habits.
In collaboration with local craftsmen, I thus created and photographed a series of chimeras (sculptures, engravings, clothings, zelliges, rugs, poteries...).
